A suggestion from a former Frozen owner... I seriously do NOT advise it. Mine had a few "minor scratches" to be fixed before I got it from the dealer but funnily enough they couldn't match the factory finish and it looked like total shit. A patchwork quilt of different shade/textures some shiny and some were more satin than the next panel ( this was on a frozen black car FYI) . It's not worth it unless you're getting the whole car PPF'd or know of an amazing shop who has expertise in repairing Frozens. Save yourself the stress that I had to endure - I returned my car after 3 months.

FROZEN looks amazing and it is easy to take care of . I sealed my paint w/ a sealer made specifically for satin/flat paint . Never had any issues .
The only issue I have is finding another frozen color for sale .
Cuurently looking for a Frozen color Bmw

I own a 2024 M4 Frozen Tulum Blue

I love it and to protect the paint I had the entire car wrapped in satin Xpel so as to not take away from the frozen look and I can drive though a car wash!

I also had the piano black wrapped with clear XPEL to protect it from rock chips.

I did the same on my 2023 Bronco Raptor with Clear XPEL due to the Metallic Paint.

With stealth ppf I think gloss paint and the stealth wrap is the way to go. If you ever get tired of the stealth or want to sell it at least the buyer has the choice to decide what they want. I personally avoid frozen paints. I liked it for a short period but that wore off.

Frozen paint definitely needs to be stealth PPFed just to prevent the “what if” scenarios. Bird droppings are the major one that can happen anytime, anywhere your car is out of the garage. Paint correction not possible so PPF if you plan on keeping the car long term.

Love mine, biggest issue I deal with is that nearly everyone thinks it’s a wrap. I used the BMW matte polish on mine, think it came out great. Will apply it a few times a year going forward.

I certainly do not regret it! That said, it is essential to get the car wrapped ASAP. If you get it wrapped in satin PPF, it looks pretty much like stock.

Once wrapped, the care for a frozen car is very, very simple.
