No codes of any kind because this section of piping is downstream of the last 2 o2 sensors, thus there is no way possible for any exhaust gases to make their way back to those sensors. You will also have no problem with emissions testing because these days no mechanics are going under cars looking for aftermarket piping. The visual inspection will consist only of an under hood peek for intakes and blowers without exemption stickers.

It's hit or miss. Every inspection I've seen uses mirrors underneath the car to verify cats are installed, employees can rack up big fines or even lose their license for missing things like this.

New cars are exempt for inspections for 7 years, so you shouldn't have to worry about things for a little while.

Geez, thats crazy. You must be getting smogs done at San Quentin State Prison. Smogs up here in NorCal consist of under hood visuals. That or every spot I've gone to, leading up to settling into my regular guy's place, have been lackadaisical.

Here in NC, all they do is check for OBDII readiness, so no worries about that.

Here's a video of mine!

VRSF single midpipe, stock DPs, stage 1 tune and that's it.
Almost sounds same as stock but has a slightly deeper tone. Also a bit louder around ~3-4K RPM.

Lmk what you all think!

Yeah, least expensive annual inspection I can remember. What part of NC are you in, Grogan? I'm in the Wilmington area.

Sounds great - one question: what made you choose the VRSF over the AA? If the AA were only $200 more than the VRSF, would you have gone with that?

Thank you!

Honestly the 200 dollars made the difference for me. Costs adds up with installation etc etc. Most used AA are going for around the same price as a brand new VRSF. Seemed pretty similar to the AA so i decided to go for it!

According to the website, the VRSF mates up with the MPE, which if I can verify, would be great for those of us who donít want to hack up the AA or spend a ridiculous amount on the one brand that offers a direct fit

Anybody willing to forward one of these over to me? I've heard that VRSF will not ship to APO addresses any longer, which is a shame.

That's great to hear. I tried to purchase through one of your vendors back in July and he showed me an email where you said he wasn't allowed because "USPS isn't reliable enough".

I'll be making an order soon!!
