Anyone have pics on the M2C 788M wheels on an F80?

someone offered to trade wheel with me, but I've actually never seen this setup done. Curious now.

Why would you want to put those heavy boat anchors on your car ? They are the worst F8X wheels...

It's different. Still forged. Still oem "M" wheels. Price for a used mint set with tpms and practically brand new tires from a fellow forum member kind of makes it a no brainer over similar priced, new, flow-formed/cast wheels. I'd say if you find a good deal for mint set locally, why not?
Post up some pics after you put them on OP. At the end of the day, it's your car, your choice. If you don't like it, you can always resell for little to no loss.

I don't I was just curious what they would look like. Never thought about it till someone offered a trade.

I personally don't even like them on the M2C

Yeah, it's okay. Fine for stock wheels, but nothing I'd go out of my way for.

Mesh design wheels are interesting in the sense that it's really easy to screw up the look based on the slightest misstep in spoke design, concavity, or spacing. Even if one detail is a little off, it ruins the look of the wheel. Some companies "get" it while others just have no clue how to design a nice looking mesh wheel. Even many well known absurdly expensive wheels have the same issue.

In this wheel's case, I think it's the spacing and how parallel the long spokes are to each other. I don't mind the diamond cut, but the geometry is a little generic.

The wheels look good but it's too flat, makes the car look like a base 3 series. Plus they're heavy.

You could put the teddy bear wheels on an F80 and it would still look dope.
