Deal or no deal: M4CS vs C63 ?

Hey guys,

I have reached a financially comfortable point in my life where I can finally lease a car "for fun".

I love *both* of these cars but at this point it just comes down to running the numbers. There's a lot of information on the internet and I think I have the hang of it but I want to defer to the subject matter experts here.

Below numbers are for 36 month @ 10k miles per year:

Offer #1: 2020 M4CS
MSRP: $106k
$99,360 Discounted Price
Plus $1,750 Lease Credit
$63,447 residual
$0 down payment
$3,584 drive offs (consists of acquisition fee, license, doc fee, first payment and upfront tax)
$1,234 plus tax
$1,352/mo including tax

Offer #2: 2020 M4CS
MSRP: $106k
$92.3k discounted price
$9k sales tax
$5k down payment
$1,132/mo

Offer #3: 2020 AMG C63 S
MSRP: $82k
Out of pocket: $4k
Residual: $43,865.45
$1,140/mo

What do ya'll think? Can I do better?

p.s. I was born and raised in San Francisco so never really needed a car....feels great to be a grown up now but would prefer not to get shafted either way

p.p.s. I have been a long time lurker so thank you to everyone who has contributed their time over the years I have learned A LOT

At first glance those M4CS deals seem awful. Browse through the pricing thread here and you will see most are under $1k/mo with $0 down payment.

Mercedes lease terribly as indicated by the msrp of the car being $20k+ less than the M4cs yet the payment is similar or more expensive.

those M4 CS deals are horrible. my friend just leased a 2020 M4 CS limerock grey $110k sticker for $1100 month including tax with 0 down. $106k sticker on an M4 CS is a regular color like white or san marino blue with just executive pack. they are asking for way too much down and over $1100 is ridiculous for a $106k sticker M4 CS. Also the $82k C63s is not even close to fully loaded. 82k is the lowest i've seen as they easily make their way into the mid $90k range. you should definitely check out a couple different dealers near you because these prices do not sound right at all. Or it's first shot price and they are just testing your knowledge.

Thank you! That was my first assumption but I (incorrectly) thought since these are the last of the outgoing models they are trying to hype it up.

This is a very helpful benchmark for me on both the M4 CS and C63S. I will go back to the sales folks and let you all know of any updates.

Thank you again!

In my opinion, overall fun factor and which vehicle you would enjoy the most; would have a heavier weight than monthly payment. Get what you want!!

If it’s just a deal on paper and principle, well that’s a different story.

Man after seeing the deals on CS cars last year I'd have a hard time paying >$1k/mo for one.

And the same CS deals will most likely be available in a couple months as BMW tries to clean out inventory

A 1% MSRP lease on a M car isn't a bad deal at all!

Try to get a Benz or Audi for 1% with zero down.

Edit: Just saw you talking about OP his lease.

Where are you located? I might know someone who will give you a great deal.
