12v wires in rear mirror assembly M4

Hi, has anyone used the wiring loom inside the rear mirror assy to tap off and run a dash cam? I had a look inside the easily removable cover and there are 3 sets of wires in there. Hoping to find an ignition switched 12v feed.

Yes. Go look in the diy section for the escort radar detector diy which taps the mirror wires.

Remember most dash cams need 5 volts not 12 volts so make sure you have a power adapter.
