I should mention here that there is a different Bilstein Clubsport kit for the 5-bolt strut towers that is designed for the newer M3/M4s.
So far I've had 2 people go for the newer kit from us but surely somebody has an early production M3 or M4 looking for a handling upgrade. |

How hard is to change the stiffness ? How to cancel the adaptive suspensions ? At the most comfortable mode is it still much stiffer than adaptive comfort ?
Actually my problem is I love the ability to change the stiffness anytime through buttons, however I don't change very often, in the city I use comfort and on the track sport+. Therefore, if the cancellation and changing stiffness are easy(no need for any parts removal), I want to go with these. |

Changing stiffness with this kit is relatively easy, the red & blue compression & rebound adjustments are at the top of each shock so you can reach in (easier if you jack the car up) and move a few clicks softer or firmer as needed. We find that most customers only make adjustments when they do go to the track and settle on a typical street setting that suits their preference. This Clubsport kit improves handling and stability by moving to firmer spring rates, the dampers do a great job of absorbing and smoothing out bumps so the ride can be set to be comparable to the factory Comfort mode but will not match it exactly. |
