A deal I had going on an M3 just fell through and I’m looking again.

Looking for:

2015-2016 M3

And the most limiting of all, I’ve found....No carbon fiber roof. UPDATE- now open to a carbon fiber roof.

Anybody selling?

You’ll find something within the next few months that matches your price and options. The new M models just came out so people will start unloading their current ones all year. I’d expect the market to shift in regards to pricing and options here soon. Just don’t rush into anything because within a few months you’ll thank yourself for doing it. A lot of dealers and seller are overpriced and won’t budge, pretty soon they will wish they sold first when it was easy to sell since this happens every time a new model change comes out and leases come to an end (which will happen at random times this year). I suspect that we might see more used m3s than normal considering there now AWD and a lot of people are buying it for that reason alone. Also don’t forget that gas is on the rise and that’ll push buyers away and the only ones that really get hurt by the loss of value the most will be private sellers trying to squeeze out every last dollar when their interest rates, mileage and gas costs will superceed their previous offers (if it’s not paid off). It’ll be a buyers market again this year, and I’m also in the market for M4 vert so I’ll be waiting for the good deals because they always pop up, those who wait for their rewards always benefit, lol. Good luck with your search!

Great points, I appreciat that. Unfortunately for personal reasons, i need a car sooner. I could get a different car to putt around in while shopping, but I'd prefer to avoid it.

Just keep in mind your total cost when buying at a dealer vs private party. If your interest rate is 3% at a dealer (Bank of america dealer rate as of today) vs private party at say 4-5% then you could technically pay a few thousand more at a dealer and end up at the same overall end cost at the end of the loan and thats where the dealer typically wins over locals when it comes to fast sales. The only way private party wins is when the cost is low enough to offset that difference or if you plan to pay off the loan much sooner. Once again good luck with your search and never let anyone know that your desperate, they will then try to take advantage of that.
