Cool VIDEO: 2019 Audi RS5 Detailed Review - Is it Really Worth It?

The 2019 RS5 Review¬

PROS

- Great Engine and power, tons of torque from very low RPM 1900, very linear power and almost no lag
- amazing interior and material used from CF, Alcantara and NAPPA, super well build quality
- Exterior is really modern and futuristic, the Matrix HL are so sweet and pretty, lovely lines and Car is wide man!

CONS

-Exhaust too quiet and becuz the build quality and isolation is so good u can't hear it much
-gearbox is very smooth (Tiptronic 8 Speed Auto) can get a bit boring keep switching gears and not very aggressive changes, flap paddles are made from plastic and are short could be super hard to reach and annoying at times.

The RS5 coupe is super comfortable and more a sports GT it is much softer than the M4/ M4 CP. Tech wise it is nicer.

And why even post this here? Go post it in on Audi forum. Anyone cross shopping an M vs a RS5 needs to have their head examined.

He always posts car review vids like this. I'm assuming he works for a car dealer or something?

I want an RS6 Avant now, lol. One took me to Gapplebees about a month ago. Ordered me a. Extra large Gapperoni with cheese.

Audi makes beautiful cars.

RS5 won't be serving any of that up. there's a post showing how one with a flash and exhaust mods trapped ~119mph, aka same as a stock F80

If I lived in Germany, I'd strap a set of pure turbos to S55 and get after it (or is that tough to get through TUV)

Anyone who won't accept that they are other cars that are compared to the M3/M4 must be sick and need a pill!

You can do it, but it has to be installed by a shop so you can show that when you do the TUV.

I have an Audi... and let's just say I won't be getting another Audi... driver involvement and the excitement factor just isn't there.

And what? I stated my opinion on it regardless of whether or not they are direct competitors. 6MT 3500lb RWD vs auto 4000lb AWD is not something I would cross shop but do you man.

Maybe you personally wouldnt consider buying the Audi but they are absolutely direct competitors just as the Mercedes c63 is as well. The BMW 3/4 series, Audi A4/5 series, and Mercedes C class compete in the same exact segment.

lol it's not an opinion it's a fact. An opinion/preference is which car you like more than the other. A fact is that market segments/classes exist of which the M3/4 and RS5 are in the same category.

He said HE PERSONALLY wouldn't cross shop them because of the weight difference. That's his opinion then. I agree though. Market segments does not mean equal in weight.

Had one in LA, and an s5 sportback via turo, did a few of the more popular canyon runs and wished I was in a different car the whole time

I remember my rs3 being a lot more dynamic, which is strange as rs5 has the proper torsen awd and rear diff

S5 sounded better, rs5 sounded like a vacuum cleaner, even worse than driving my r35 GTR home from dealer back in 2010

Yes RS5 feels soft this time and more like GT but a superb one indeed!

I think RS5 flops hard. Especially once the M3/4 is available with AWD as an option there will be no reason to even consider an RS5.

The new 2020 S5 looks nice.

I drove the new 2019 RS5 and would pick S5 and save the extra money.
