M4cs suspension mods
Hello everyone i just bought a 17' LRG m4cs and the car was not driven much by the previous owner (just about 800km and thats it). Right after buying the car i drove it home and i noticed the clicking. The day after i sent the car to the dealer and they told me that had to buy a new valvetronic motor because the one on the car was not working properly. We placed the order and it looks like its gonna take a couple weeks for it to arrive and be installed. In the mean time i want to buy all the other mods im gonna do to the car and one thing that i was concerned about was the reight height. I read on the forum that some people really like the mphas and others like the kw and other brands. My question is that which one would be more suitable for daily city driving and drifting around town and would this be effecting the cars handling capabilitys ( either in a good way or bad way ) ?
Thanks everyone in advance I also posted some pics down here |

mp has suits the stock shocks very well, I did not try kw has. eibach will probably be ok but I would never use just lowering spring in my car, personal preference.

How many total miles does the car have so far? I would recommend mphas if you're keeping stock shocks. I ran Bilstein b16d on my f82 when I had it but that is stiff stiff

MP-HAS will feel slightly softer than stock, and KW-HAS slightly harder. Both offer the same drop potential. Good stuff!
I picked MP-HAS

I'd leave the suspension alone, it was specifically designed for that car and it works great

I’ve never been a fan of just springs, but the MP HAS kit I had installed is fantastic. It feels like they were specifically made for the car (likely were duh) and feel like coils. I’ve had KW V3s on my prior three F8x cars and now my CS with HAS feels very similar. I recommend them!

Personally i feel that the stock EDC suspension is one of the worst things on these cars. I never liked it. I had EDC shocks with H&R has-kit earlier but even if it worked ok i never liked the caracter of the shocks.
I went for Öhlins road & track coilovers and changed the springrates on them as they are too high for street use in my opinion. So my advice is that if you plan on keeping the car, buy a proper quality adjustable suspension kit. It transforms the car and you can both corner weight it, fine tune the shocks and set the correct ride height. the car will feel much more solid with a proper suspension kit. Never understood why people garage queen these cars. They're not limited edition 911s or supercars lol I daily my m2cs and I'm sure some people here would have a heart attack hearing that
