It’s odd how diverse the f8x community is. You have die hard performance guys who would never even think of a f83 and prefer a f80 civic competition pack with the 6 speed, and then you have guys who love f83s. Pretty cool to see how diverse it is.

The only vert I would get would be a s2k, first mod would be a hardtop.

F83 all the way. I had an Audi R8 V10 spyder that I traded for an NSX lease. I never fell in love with the NSX and one reason is not being able to drop the top (among other things). I was able to turn it in early and got an F83. I couldn't be happier, even though I live in the Chicago area and the winters are too long.

F82. All day. Everyday.

Why?

The carbon fiber roof adds so much to the look of this car. Especially if you get a non-black color.

F83 with bm3 tune is scary fast. Traction control hits in 3rd gear with 400lbs extra weight. Has to be low 11sec 1/4 mile.

Off topic, but in a nutshell what made you sell the NSX for an M4? Interesting....

The NSX had no soul. It's hard to describe but I just didn't find it engaging. Though it was crazy fast, it wasn't fun to drive.

This is my new set up. I powder coated the Rims Satin Black and Powder coated my Calipers to red so they match my interior.

Never liked the 666 wheels, but these look great- best I've seen so far

Thanks . The funny thing is I actually hated the 666 Rims at first but then I saw another Vert passing by and they look great so I traded my 437's with my buddy for these. though you feel the bumps more with these rims im pretty happy overall with this set up.

If you desire attention and being in the spot light, a convertible car will achieve that for you way more than a coupe. If your looking for a rigid car, less maintenance and top fails, and that sweet ass carbon fiber top, coupe it is.

I will never own a convertible/ hardtop car, I might rent one for a trip or something
