I met my now wife 2 days before I was leaving todo ED. I didnt plan on telling her at the time but at the end of the date she wanted another one and asked why it would be two weeks away. She knew what she was getting into....Fast forward 3 years and I ordered my M3 and we did PCD delivery so she got to drive a bit on the track....She was hooked!

Her only complaint is how awful it sounds. We were driving down to DC last month and got behind an M2 for most of the way down. We had a good time but we got to the Baltimore Tunnel and the windows went down. I let him go infront of me as to not soil his experience with the tune of the F80....We get out of the tunnel and she turns to me and says "Please get an exhaust your car sounds like the 1980 riced civic that drives past our house every morning"....

Part of me died, the other part of me said I hit the Wife Jackpot!

Of course shes an equestrian and has a horse

......I think she feels guilty

I am lucky lucky man, married for 20 years no complaints!
Although, she did say, after our son was born, "if you want to drive crazy drop me off, we have a child now!"

My wife still complains anytime I drive my car with her in it, but now she uses my kid as an excuse! Like “oh I bet Preston is Really comfortable too”

Haha. Next time she’s in the car I’m just gonna put everything in sport plus mode

My wife complained about my stock suspension being too stiff, and steering wheel too heavy in comfort mode. I can't blame her though, her car is a 320.

As long as I don't touch 100mph

She's not bad at 85 if traffic is light.

It's when I'm at a Buck and traffic looks like it's moving backwards lol

Had a trip back from Ithaca ny rte 17 beautiful hwy.

Had to let a MB e350 and a Macan GTS pass me on a straight.

Surprisingly the wife was calm for the pretty tight 100 mph bends; that put Macan and MB back then they both ripped by me at my 100mph wife limiter

My wife just stopped riding in my car because she’s either wearing pants with buttons that can scratch my leather, complains that my driving makes her sick, too loud, has a car that people want to race me, blah blah blah.

I got her an X7 so she’s perfectly happy not being in mine.

My wife doesn't drive my cars cause she's scared of the gas pedal. I drive her around and tell her it's very sensitive and any light pressure will shoot the car like a rocket.

I gave her my wrangler which is lifted on off road tires. Takes her an hour to reach speed limit.

The year our Son was born, My wife ordered a new STI with the SPT exhaust upgrade fr Subaru, for the added boom factor FIVE.

bottom line is that I'm a lucky dood.

Our toddler still loves the engine sounds after all these years, and really loved our previous M3 with an S65 and modded exhaust.

The F8x with or without ASD is just 'meh' to him...
