when is your build week? is yours a individual? im a week 17 individual build, still on status 111 for 2 weeks without a confirmed production date.
Is this normal? CA says we will date a confirmed date by next week |

You'll go into status 112 about 2 weeks before your scheduled build week

If your order is just documented, then your status 111. Once you get scheduled for a production week, about a week before your original estimate, you'll go into status 112. Then status 150 is when you are finally assigned a production date. This stage takes about 7-10 days but only 2 days to actually build the car. Normally happens on the 7th day that your car goes into the body and paint shop. You also can get your vin from your CA or BMW rep once you enter 150.

Ok, so they started building my car yesterday (even though I was slated for week 17), so what status should I be in now?

Status 150. If you call the 1800 number, what day does it say your completion is?

This is my first post.........thanks to everyone, I learned a lot from this thread.
I just signed and ordered an M3 today from a NorCal dealer. This is the best one I received from going back and forth with 13 different dealers in the SF Bay Area. I'm hoping to find out the build week in a couple of days. 36 Mo Lease/12K miles/65% residual/.00129 MF MSRP $65275 Selling Price $63075 (still about $2290 over invoice) Acq Fee $995 (they wouldn't change it no matter how much I tried) Upfront $2253.31 Monthly $781.89 I thought it was a decent deal.

So I'm assuming he was either new or something else... He was able to tell me that the car has gone into production on Monday, but is not yet in the body shop, whatever that means... |

You should read the Sticky "ultimate guide to tracking". Also you should move this conversation over to "Build Delays" as this threat is for pricing. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=967058

Thanks to FeckinSpaceman I got to order my car in Florida! Got a great price and watching my production number like a hawk. The one thing I will point out I noticed that 2015 allocations are drying up and people are less likely to deal. Every person that was willing to deal didn't have an allocation or had one far out.
The thing that surprised me is that a the dealer that I had a previous relationship with really dropped the ball and sold all their allocations while we were putting my build together and decided to stop answering my emails. I will not name them directly as they are a sponsor and very active on this form. |

New M3 lessee here!
Hello everyone!
My name is Colton I just closed the deal on my first M car! First of all, I would like to thank everyone on this message board for sharing their experiences while leasing from a dealer. I'm an auto finance manager myself (at a large Toyota dealer in my city) so I already know what to look for etc... but this thread STILL saved me a lot of time and blood shed in my quest to find my perfect deal. Anyways, so here it goes: After sending emails to over 40 dealers in 20 states I ended up spending my ENTIRE DAY-OFF (yesterday) negotiating with dealer after dealer. I finally decided on a beautiful Mineral White M3 w/ Sakhir Orange interior, CF roof and black 19's (after reviewing the build sheet I've determined the only option it doesn't have is the CCB's). The dealer agreed to the .00129MF and an initial discount of $2,000.00. After much back and forth on price and payment, I told the dealer I was going to buy elsewhere because his car didn't have a moonroof (I actually did want the moonroof option originally). He then agreed to discount the car even more and ship it to me but I told him I needed to call the other dealer first before I gave him my commitment. Two minutes after hanging up the phone I get a text message from the sales manager's, "I called my general manager and he agreed to take another $1,000.00 off. You're at $890.74/mo!". So I immediately called him back and agreed to the deal! I'm excited to enter the M world for the first time! This will be my third BMW after owning a 2007 and 2008 E92 335i's. So, I think I did pretty good, here's my deal... 36 Mo Lease / 12K miles / 65% residual Money Factor: .00129 MF MSRP: $81,825.00 Selling Price: $75,970.00 ($300.00 over invoice) Acq Fee: $995 Upfront: $1177.67 Monthly Payment: $890.74 And like I said above... The dealer agreed to ship the car to me from 195 miles away as part of the deal. My new car will be delivered to me this Sunday. Woo hoo! Tell me what you guys think... |

Deal looks great. The only thing is they marked up the acquisition fee to the max amount (base rate is $795). $200 in the grand scheme of things is nothing and they are shipping it to you, so I would call it a wash.

Does anyone know if you can use the 0.00015 loyalty discount with the 36-mos. program? I don't believe you could on the Feb. 39-mos. program.

I'm pretty sure that is accurate. My residual for a 36 month lease with 15k miles is now 63%.
FYI...the residuals this month are insanely good. I originally ordered my car in December when the residual % was lower. Given that I'm going to be using March numbers, I've decreased my lease payment by $73!! That's over $2600 over the term of the lease.
