F80 Heated Wheel coding not working out

Hi all,

MY16 that originally came with an Alcantara wheel but a previous owner swapped it out for the original (I believe with heating element but I've yet to confirm this). Assuming that it had the element built in, I've fitted the F80 specific heated wheel switch, lower cowl, plugged into the control unit and then added 248 to FA, updated FA FL then FDL coded:

FEM_BODY - 3140 PFLinSteeringWheel
- CODDT_BYTE_00_SZL_LIN = LHZ_aktiv
- LIN_VARIANTE_LRE = lre_tlc_lhz
- LIN_VARIANTE_SZL = szl_4Band
- LRE_Verbaut = aktiv

Upon testing, the heated steering switch light does not go on to indicate function when pressed and wheel does not heat up. Any thoughts or suggestions on where to start diagnosing/testing next?
