Just got an invite to the Pzero Experience
These fucking guys. lol.
They want me to pay $800 for a track day where I'm invited to bring, "MY SUPERCAR" to the track for a day of "driving lessons with own supercar" "product training" etc. Nothing has ever made me less interested in buying Pirelli tires than the invite to drive my own car, using my own consumables, at over 3x the cost of a regular track day, while they pitch me on why I should use their tires. WTF?!? They want me to pay and use my car so they can advertise to me? |

Maybe If they provided the car or gave me tires. I mean the point is to try to attract super car owners but instead they are doing the exact opposite. |

They would have to have some really exciting entertainment, the kind that dances along with some good alcohol to join that adventure.

The same morons [here I go not making friends again, it is too late reading that book about winning friends and influencing people] who pay 200 or even 100 bucks for a CF gas cap - but change their oil every 10k, still complaining it is too expensive to do an oil change!

Nothing exclusive about this, anybody can register and attend for $800:
https://pzeroexperience.pirelli.com/...ts/thermalclub Also note, you drive your own car, but "The vehicle must meet all of the track rental group’s on-track safety requirements (appropriate seat belt, roll cage, window netting, etc.)". So if your street M3/M4 has that, fine. It's possible that Thermal doesn't require this, as none of the cars used at the BMW Performance Center have this special equipment. Participants in other countries get to drive legendary current and former F1 circuits such as the Red Bull Ring, Hockenheimring, Yas Marino Circuit, Fuji International Speedway, Shanghai Circuit, Silverstone Circuit, and Mugello Circuit, while the Thermal Club is a private club track. I've driven there many times, and while it's fun, it's no match to any of the foreign circuits. If this was at COTA that would be a different story. Also note that this is a one-day event. A 2-day HPDE with the BMW CCA or with the Audi Club at Buttonwillow, a much better track, costs less than this and your car doesn't have to have any special equipment, just pass a safety inspection. This is not exactly a cost-effective event.
