Man, this is super tempting.
Until earlier this year, I had never owned an American car. Then Tesla replaced my i3. Now C8 might replace the M3. Can this be happening? a

Just bought a 2018 Alfa 4C Spider in late-April, and it it a super engaging to drive, but with that said, the 2020 Corvette is way more car. I normally hate American cars but would have no hesitation getting one...and that’s saying a lot given my penchant for European cars.

GTV, not Giulietta, and rumored to be more like 640hp with mild hydrid technology similar to the LaFerrari. Should be awesome, but suspect even the C9 Corvette arrives well before the GTV knowing Alfa’s propensity to delay new vehicle launches.

your first paragraph is obvious as with any car manufacturer, not just Chevy. You second part, i'd have to somewhat agree on the backend, i believe the vette customers should have an overall different experiece tailored to them instead of pulling up next to a cruze in the service bay. I'll be taking my c7z in for service next week for the first time, i'll see how that goes. |

for now I need 4 doors and a large trunk but I am really thinking about the vette... congrats to the engineers, job well done

I don't know if I'll actually end up with one, but the fact that other automakers - not just GM - keep coming out with such gamechanging and compelling performance cars today makes me much less sad and disappointed whenever BMW makes yet another decision that I hate.

Very impressive!! Had a 2006 Z06 with no problems. Hated the service though. No loaners! Still very tempting.

Almost certain the new vette is going to be my next car. At this price point, I don't even care if you see more of these than mustangs. The german brands are no longer leading the pack in terms of innovation and are way overpriced.

I'm intrigued but still a Chevy and it gives me a mental block to deal with GM and to support them.
When I had a Boss 302 I took it to the Lincoln dealer because dealing with the Ford dealer was a mess (burnouts, stalling, grease on leather, etc) Granted that's luck of the draw but luxury companies tend to pamper and take care of you more |
