My experiences with the NT01 are limited to my E90 and E92. I haven't wasted any time with the CS screwing around with Nittos. Never again. By the way the 265/295 RE71 setup on the stock CS wheels looks fine, I thought they'd look fat but it's ok |

After I get my HAS installed, I'm going to run a fresh set of Nittos on an actual aggressive alignment and then give the RE71Rs or the Eagle F1 Super Sports a try.

I'm looking at the sizing for the RE71R, looks like it comes in 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 (I don't see a 295 on tirerack)? It looks like these might fit on the stock 437 wheels if I pick up a used set of those? |

I run 265/35/19 F and 285/35/19 rears on a spare set of 437's. Great summer tire that has far more grip than PS4S, PS4S are currently on my other set of 437's that I will swap back on occasionally for long road trips.

I really wish they offered more size configurations for the 71s. It would be amazing if you could get 275/305 for an 18 inch wheel setup. 265/285/19 are still great though.

Agreed, although their 285/30/18 is quite wide. That's what I'd run on 11" rear if I had one

-3 degrees? I ran -2.6 and it seemed like a little more could be beneficial. Same for the rear. |

As you go adding tire width you need more wheel width to accommodate it. In an ideal world I'd run a 10.5 front and 11 rear on the F8X. But I refuse to pay almost 500/wheel for flowforged stuff that should be 300/wheel. I'll wait until other ones are released. On those wheels I'd run a 275 front and 285 rear RE71, then the same widths with R1's. Now I'm running 265/295 on the CS only because I don't have any dedicated wheels for it and those were the only sizes for the CS wheels. The 255/275 combo is the E92 ZCP wheels but those weigh a lot so they're a pain to move around I run -3 in the front at the track with appropriate toe. I can post the settings here but taking a flight soon so it'll be another time. |

I'm right with ya. Only once have I ever had the pleasure of experiencing NT01s in the rain, never again. VIR full course, rain showers hit on certain sections of track and it was literally like driving on an ice skating rink. Not going to risk balling up my nice car to prove a point. I'd rather pull in, throw on my streets, slow the pace, and practice my technique.
