Should I let off the gas when shifting with DCT?

I come from driving a car with an MT, and I am used to letting off the gas to shift gears. When driving my M3 in manual mode, should I similarly be letting off the gas when shifting up or down?

Silly question, please don't flame. Thanks!

No you don’t. If you do the car shifts weird. Keep your foot on the gas and let the transmission do the work

Shifting the F80 DCT under hard acceleration is one of the great joys of my life. Go hard. Live long and prosper.
