Every Day Carry (EDC) has been a thing for minimalists for years now. There are even websites devoted to it: https://everydaycarry.com/. You need to get out more.

You won't be able to use an inductive charger for your smartphone if you use one of these.

Here's something similar from GRIP6. I have several of their belts with different color webbing/buckles.

Left front pocket, leather front pocket wallet
Right front pocket, pixel 3
5th pocket, key fob

And I've got to turn the trunk release off, several times it's opened on it's own. Carrying the fob in the 5th pocket of my jeans has helped but in slacks no such luck, it just bounces around my phone.

My card holder is attached to phone case. So you simply remove it for charging.

Bought on a discount, this fob case is hard to beat. Prevents accidental button pressings! Highly recommended.

I never understand guys that walk around with wallets containing receipts from 2 years ago. I have a smart lock, so no house keys and make the wife check the mail since I hate traditional keys.

This is probably as minimal as I can go but hoping for some ideas until a few years when I can get a g series m that should allow me to ditch the fob and use phone only.
Hey I like that wallet and I've been looking to go minimalistic. What is it? I have a badge for my office that I need to use, it doesn't block all signals does it?

My keys are a little weird. I have a single ring with these tiny titanium d clips I found online. Dealing with 4 cars I wanted to keep my keyring flexible and versatile. I just keep my keyfobs in a tin box (faraday) and only grab the key(s) I need for the day. Today I brought my i3 and M3 CS keys because I had to do some shuffling and didn't want to bother going back inside. I highly recommend this if you have multiple cars and don't want to carry all your fobs. I keep the d clips attached to my everyday ring so I have the option of having all my fobs at once if I needed to. Maybe I should reverse them?

Sounds crazy but I just use the key fob attached to the Louie Vuitton key holder. Holds the key and 3 cars. My id and two credit cards. Cash is slim so I just keep 100 or so in my pocket

No cash for me, just 2 credit cards and my health insurance cards all in my Montblanc card holder. That along with Apple wallet app on my X, the cc’s are soon on their way out the more places get Apple Pay. Wish BMW followed suit with a no key required full function car app.

It's a tumi Card case, I got the one without rfid blocking so my work badge can work

I leave my wife's spare key at home and only use it if I take her car. Overall I'm really happy with this setup. I tried keeping my fob on just a key chain and almost forgot it in my pants , could have ended up in laundry

I'm thinking about picking one up. I hate walking out to my car and seeing the trunk wide open. Where did you purchase the fob holder?

Trunk open is exactly what happened to me. After that I was definitely never letting that happen to me again.

Thanks, I'll look into the Tumi.

Like you, I almost lost my wife's keys, which is why I started to use the d clip system. I always have my house keys, so I just attach whatever car key I'm using that day. My commuter, my M3, my beater, and my wife's car all have their own d clip for easy attachment and removal.

Yeah. It freaked me out. I've been walking away from my car with key fob in my hand as to not "trigger" the trunk. Very annoying. I'm going to pick one of these up. Thanks.

Well that cost me ~$100 for two of them. Thanks, they look great and if they keep my trunk from popping open accidentally then it's TOTALLY worth it.

That being said, I’m planning to take a safety class to be able to keep a shotgun in my home (I would rather spray down a hallway with a bunch of shot rather than have to aim and shoot a pistol, if it’s a stressful situation)
Respectfully at the distances you would be engaging in a hallway the shot does not have time to spread and form a pattern, think one big hole. It is easier to aim a shoulder fired weapon with a longer sight radius (Shotgun / Rifle) but you still need to aim the weapon. A safety class teaches you safe handling, not how to shoot. I would recommend you also take a shooting class to learn how to employ the weapon. Search NorCal shooting range or Precision Rifle NorCal. That is more of a long range precision rifle club but I'm sure you could get some basic shotgun instruction. Try to get with a guy named Vu and explain what you are looking for, he may be able to help. If not he could probably point you in the right direction. In SoCal Tran Butler is THE GUY (Tran Tactical). He teaches all the Hollywood people. Works a lot with Keanu Reeves and other actors / actresses in action shooting movies (John Wick cast).

I tried that one, you can find it on Amazon but had to return it. It’s thinner a good thing but kind of plastic feeling with sticker type print. It’s not expensive and I probably would have kept it but I was having trouble with it sensing my car locks when I approached the car with key in pocket to finger print the door handle. YMMV*

*Maybe others that bought it will chime in. It’s a nice design if it was built to a better standard.
