Nope - I believe the only halogen bulb found in the LCI taillight is the reverse light.

IIRC (I think RFS refers to reverse lights; I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.)

Beware bulbs do not fit F83

Post #2 indicates:

Just picked these up. Popped right in with no issues

http://ddmtuning.com/Products/BAY9S-Canbus-5xCree-W

I bought a set, and the bulbs are not even close to the right size for my car.

Bulb on left is OE; bulb on right is BAY9S (or whatever).

Because the bulb is in reference to the F80 sedan, not the convertible.

That is why I specifically stated "does not fit my car" and referenced the F83.

Just a community service warning to the convertible crowd (and quite possibly the coupe crowd) it won't fit.

Is it really necesarry to code everything? Or mayB the last part: IS_LED: aktiv... is enough for no flashing and error?

The amazon reviews for these are pretty low. Are they fragile as people are claiming?

JEez shipping for the DDM Tuning bulbs cost more than the bulbs themselves. Any other options out there confirmed to work?

I bought these from DDM. Yes was expensive shipping, and took a little bit. They didn't fall apart like others mentioned, and there are no errors. I just need to code them now once someone answers my above post.

I have used this website with excellent results in the past for my e90: http://www.autolumination.com

Auto Lumination's website seems like the sketchiest place to buy anything on the internet... but... I've bought tons of bulbs from them without any drama. Good stuff!

Thanks for this! Just ordered a set as well. Have similar LEDs on my Sequoia and they made a huge difference. Any extra bit of light will help the F80 back there!

I just installed the DDM LEDs today on my F80. They work GREAT. Very bright. Seem good quality, but time will tell.

They definitely improve what you can see on reverse cam and do not interfere with the picture (enhance it a bit because, hey more light). They seemed to work fine with no coding whatsoever. No startup flash (I have 6MT not DCT, not sure if that matters), and no flickering when in reverse.

Just did the coding anyway to be safe. Didn't seem to affect how they work, and no flickering on startup after the coding.

Do all the coding listed, or did You only do the coding at the bottom two lines?
