XHP transmission flash amazing tool.

I made some test stock turbos Launch Control 4300rpm up to 9.7psi, 3800rpm 5.5psi , 4,000rpm 7.2psi and 3500rpm 4.7psi ....it could use from 2000rpm up to 6000rpm so results will be depends on the benefit you could obtain of your asphalt and tires.

Lucho, have you nailed down the best RPM/boost launch yet on street tires?

Local guy here ran 10.5 sec 1/4 mile on Mickey Thompson's, stock turbos, Wedge custom tune on MHD, FBO, full e85, and meth.

yes 3800rpm around 5.5psi with drag radial on street 1.88 / 1.93 with my springs.

Yesterday was first day at local track, because was rainning all week and 7 months track closed we could make normal 60ft around 1.57 to 1.64sec

Lower 60' and DA means low 10.4's all day, nice job. Your car is moving on stock turbos.

thanks, we got others M3/M4 that achieve 1.57 ** 1.63 on 60ft same track same tires...
I know this car made 10.97@133mph with 1.88sec on 60ft and with 1.80sec down to 10.69sec .... we will see what happens

At the drag strip with an official time slip. There's a YouTube video floating around somewhere. Let me see if I can find it.

Guy knows how to drive. Previous car was a 335i and I believe he was or is a record holder in the 9s or something.

I think World Record stock turbos full weight is 10.44sec and without seats 10.27sec from

That's great. The incremental gains start to become diminishing returns as you get faster I see. I was just contributing to the thread and could really care less about 1-4 mile performance in regards to the F8x platform, to be honest.

If I wanted to go fast in the 1/4 mile, I would probably just buy a Dodge Hellcat Red Eye Demon (or whatever edition it is that runs a 9 sec 1/4 mile stock) and build it from there. https://www.dragtimes.com/blog/9-sec...lenger-hellcat

The F8x (BMWs in general) was R&D on the Nurburgring which in my opinion probably implies it is better suited for a different type of racing. I could be completely wrong.

Of course, with enough aftermarket support, like the MKV Supra, 8 sec 1/4 mile can be had within 1-2 years whereas F8x record is still at 9.x sec (correct me if I'm mistaken) and our platform has been out for how many years now?

I can certainly appreciate the art, science, and perseverance it takes to conquer the 1/4 mile, don't get me wrong, so kudos to you guys out there defying the odds.

Link to 8 second 1/4 mi MKV Supra? That's pretty amazing.

With that said, while the MKV Supra has been out for about 1-2 yrs, it has a B58 engine which has been out since 2016 and the ECU had been cracked very early so tuning had been going on for a good 3 yrs already before the MKV Supra came out and the Supra benefited from all the B58 tuning that had already existed.

Still, there is no doubt the S55 is older than the B58 so the results for B58 cars and the MKV Supra are impressive... just not as impressive as 1-2 years to get a car into the 8s sounds.
