F80 Rear Quarter PPF

I don't but imagine a shop would be more than willing to swap for a small fee.

Pretty much any PPF installer will install a bigger piece.

You're looking at about $75 a side for Xpel installed.

Worth every penny

I just ordered a bulk sheet

Pulled off the ridiculously small OEM pieces (properly)
Polished out as much of the rock chips as possible
Prepped the paint

Applied

I was actually surprised how easy the film was to work with , The OEM pieces on my car were starting to yellow too they had to go.

In total I ordered

18 in x 3 feet to have extra as well

If you want to go higher up the rear quarter just order 24 inches wide for the custom sheet size and you can adjust

That is looking nice. Shame that the stock PPF does not cover the larger area. You have done a nice clean job.

How did you cut it to make it fit properly?

It is wrapped into the rear fender and then under the rear door.

This is so you see no addition seams/lines like the OEM PPF

Safest way is with a steamer. If there's any leftover residue then you can use an adhesive remover.

Just search Amazon for handheld steam cleaners. They're not expensive.

I'm going to be wrapping a portion of the rear bumper behind the wheels to protect from road rash. Driving it the winter wet months I've started to see more damage then I have liked to.

I will share photos after I complete
