Exactly - still have to do black wheels, CF roof and black interior (my opinion of course)!

sadly if I go AY I can not get CF roof. I refuse to take my wife's X5 on weekly snowboarding trips with my two boys so I need roof rack compatibility. Really sucks that BMW dropped mounting points on F80 with CF. But black wheels and black interior will be the other choices.

This is a sad story my friend, have you considered quitting sports and staying on the couch? It's an option that will look bad in the resume, but it does allow a black roof!

Sorry, I'm without coffee again, and apparently I yet again have too much time in my hands.

In another thread it says something about a workaround for roof mountings - just don't recall where exactly. So don't be sad, get the CF and still be able to mount... and all is good

[F80] Official AUSTIN YELLOW F80 M3 Sedan Thread

At the PDC for a 2-Day M School and noticed these guys hanging out. Apparently they were here for some press drives. M4 in Sakhir Orange.

Rear tires on the AW M3...toast. I tried to get a good pic of the driver seat with the cloth, but with the windows closed and the way the lighting was, it just washed out.

As far as when the M3/4 will become part of the fleet for the M Schools, the cars they ordered are on the ground in the states, but stuck at the VDC awaiting CARB clearance. As soon as they are cleared, they will have to go through break-in, and then they will be placed into service. Their best guess is mid June. Needless to say, we were bummed we missed them by like a month...

These were the pictures that convinced me AY F80 is the way I'd go. Absolutely stunning.

You can also see SO and YMB in the first picture too.

Where's the best video of an Austin Yellow M3? I feel like so much of the color look has to do with the camera and it's settings. I want to see it through camera with live lighting.

Yes I have....a dealership in Boston had an M4 in AY so I drove down as I wanted to see it in natural light before ordering. The only thing I did different than yours cosmetic-wise is I went with the light 19" alloys. I have a week 17 build (April 19-25th), hoping to get take delivery by end of May

Great picks. Just finalized the same color combo. I can't believe I ordered AY. I laughed at the color when it first came out. Originally had MW, but just yesterday I had a change of heart and went AY. Whites are too common and dark colors hide the lines. I've seen AY in person once on an M4 and it's really much more nuanced and intricate in person.

I had decided all along to keep the color a secret from my family until I get the car. My wife is in for a shock, she still laughs at the color. This could be one interesting scene at the Welt in July. Look out for a crazy post or YouTube video this summer.

Are you going to leave the grill or get black?

You have no idea how much fun you're going to have with this car - my brother in law just drove it and 20 minutes later he's still in shock!!!

You will not regret AY - in fact - I believe that in my case (and I'll bet in your case) you would have regretted not getting AY....

As far as black grills - I've definitely thought of that - still not sure (for some reason I usually like to keep the car stock - but again - that could change...)
