Brake pad recommendations

Hi everyone. I can no longer stand the amount of dust in the OEM pads and would like to replace them with ceramic ones. The problem is that in Europe there isn't the choice you have, here you only find the ATEs. By the way, I live in Romania and many American companies don't deliver to this state so I really have no other choice. All this to ask you if any of you use them or have used them on F8x and what your experience is because ATE does not recommend mounting these pads on sports or drilled discs.

Have you confirmed that FCPEURO will not ship to Romania?

Try to find Akebono pads. I have them on my F80 Comp and they produce very little dust.

Yes, which are sold at FCP, which is why I asked.

I would try to source Akenono pads. Brake dust difference is night and day! The body of the car gets more dust on it than my wheels. could probably go months before it starts looking at OEM Brake dust.

If you’re looking for a high performance street semi-metallic pad, see if you can find the Carbotech 1521 or G-LOC GS1 compounds. Minimal brake dust and zero noise. Here’s a pic showing the brake dust from the 1521 pads after ~450-500 miles:
