The only thing I know about the MG GTS with painted wheels is that it was posted on reddit quite a bit before the owner got banned.

This car just popped up on Manheim with some carbon damage and missing the orange splitter. Asking price is $66k.

Comes with oem orange lip, it was removed for transport. Running Manheim Baltimore this Tuesday.

P.s. there is no carbon damage, that is the PPF coming up from age and wear.

I wonder if people are becoming more warry of these at auction? It wasn't that long ago that the black gts iirc did quite well at auction. I was under the impression dealers didn't really know what to think or assess on these cars and their typical pre-evaluation tools weren't very accurate on them.

I know this is a car forum but it does seem like the economy is the slowest its been in the last few years and cars are really starting to pile up at dealerships and auctions. Its also the end of winter and I wonder how that's influencing the values of these.

Some owners have expressed to me that they believe the potential tariffs on Europe will increase the value of these but I am skeptical of that at best.

It does seem like the CS's have effectively quit depreciating where people refuse to sell them below 55k and like the guys at EAG said a GTS always has to command more then a CS.

I think outside of a large market correction we probably see these cars maintain a similar value to where they are now until enough time passes and nostalgia and people from graduating classes of 2015-2020 start to roll into money and want to add these to their collections. At that point I have no idea what the valuation of these cars will be. It is also possible they will never be fondly remembered given the extensive critique they got on launch.

Blame that asshole Clarkson for the bad press. Honestly, it’s been 9 years since the GTS came out. The initial reviews are a moot point. Lost in YouTube searches.

I have no idea if its a pricing error but suddenly the Matte Grey GTS at Chicago Motors is priced extremely low. If anyone is waiting on the side lines and like the frozen grey this might be your chance.

I called them and they basically just said they're tired of sitting on it, they will check the knuckles and water injection on Monday and I'll let you guys know.

I'm in TOTAL agreement with you on Clarkson. He really did a number on the GTS. He certainly wasn't a good test driver/reviewer by any means. I never regarded him anything other than an entertainer on TG.

Sadly, the GTS is so underappreciated/underrated/undervalued right now, if I had the space and spare money, I would certainly buy another one.

Keep us posted! I commented on these 2 GTS's they have, in this thread recently. I test drove the black one, and briefly spoke to them on this one as I stood under it on a storage lift.

Why is the Matte grey so much less than the black GTS at CMC?

Called and spoke to them, the matte grey car is much cheaper because it was exclusively a track car. Car has no ppf, carbon ceramics look a bit warn and its on v1 knuckles and v1 water injection. They haven't got it on a lift yet but I will report back to you guys when they do for any prospective buyers.

What does V1 mean? They are original? In working order?
