Leather tear on passenger seat guidance

Hello,

Purchased a new 2018 M3 CS out of state and had it delivered. Everything checked out except the passenger seat cushion has a small tear. Is this something you would try to repair or push for a new cushion cover (which also entails having the seat pulled and disassembled)? I am in talks with the dealer to check on options and also contacted a local upholstery shop that is highly recommended in the area.

Thanks,
Rich

That’s unacceptable for a new car. They should definitely replace it.

It's brand new. Have them replace it. Don't repair, replace.
