Mosselman Stage 1-3 for M3 CS

Has anyone here used a stage 1, 2, or 3 tune for your M3 CS from Mosselman? Curious to hear your thoughts.

No idea. First time I have come across these guys. Sounds like perhaps they may not be willing to back up their claims?

I'd just a soon not roll the dice and instead go with a proven platform like BM3, MHD, or EcuTeK. Less headache, with proven support and user confirmed results.

Bootmod3 is second to none including their support and dealer network. Engine tuning is something you should go with the masses on in case issues arise

Is the Bootmod3 something that works well on a CS as a starting point though, given that the CS is already “tuned”?

It does not make a difference since the engine is the same. Bootmod stage 1 will be significantly faster than the stock CS tune.

Solid, thank you. Are there any concerns with too much stress after BM3 on various parts that were built with stock (or CS) S55 in mind?

Depends on the octane level you are running and what stage map you are running.

IMO if you tune at any stage, you should at least get the crank bolt capture by VTT.

If you want to go stage 2 and full E85, get a one piece crank hub from precision dynamics or VTT spline lock.

Also make sure you upgrade your plugs and gap them properly as well. Here is a guide:
