MPSS 295/30/20 MO spec

Hi there,

Can someone please confirm for me that the MO spec MPSS has a narrow tread width?

Tirerack specs lists them as being narrow compared to the non MO tyre but I currently have them on my car and they don't seem to be overly narrow or stretched looking on a 10.5 inch rear.

Reason I ask is I'm looking at new rims and going to a 11 inch rear and if they are in fact narrow compared to say a OTS MP4S in a 295 that would help me stick with a 295 rear on the 11 inch wheel.

Cheers,

Anyone?

Or, a simple question is will the MP4S run wider (less stretch) than MPSS MO spec in 295 on an 11 inch rim?

MPS4S MO 295/30/20(96583):
Section width: 10.5"
Tread width: 10.3"
Overall diameter: 27"

MPS4S 295/30/20 (06016):
Section Width: 11.9"
Tread Width: 11.1"
Overall Diameter: 27"

That being said, the non MO Spec tire would be wider and have less stretch. Hope that helps out

Thanks, really wanted to confirm the reality, I've noticed on the odd occasion the tirerack spec numbers have been sus.

Definitely going to the 4S, currently have the MPSS MO. difference being I'm going from a 10.5 to a 11 inch rear wheels.

All comes down to the fitment and offset ofnyour new wheels. But the non MO spec 295/30/20 should not be an issue for clearance!
