The deal wont work right now. They will do "ok" on my car but wont budge from the 50k. Which is a little over priced as its missing the adaptive handling which is big deal and its modified and isnt CPO. Pretty much everyone is saying its high. I think they will ultimately come down to 45k. But even then not sure it fits for me with the adaptive missing.

Maybe once they come down to earth i can do it and add coilovers.
The majority of the users here agree that adaptive isn't really necessary especially when it can be remedied with coilovers pretty easily. Not as much of a deal breaker vs the executive package or competition package where it's harder to get those seats, full leather or HUDs installed.

Have you looked at the market? A quick search on BMW's inventory:

https://cpo.bmwusa.com/certified/201...717?zip=19426#

2015, CPO, w/ 15k miles and exec pkg for $51k, and I'm sure they'll move some on that.

https://cpo.bmwusa.com/used/2016-BMW...1614?zip=19426

2016, not sure if CPO, 20k miles, comp pack, $50k

https://cpo.bmwusa.com/used/2016-BMW...688?zip=19426#

2016, CPO, 23k miles, drivers/exec/lighting pkg, adaptive M suspension, $52.5k

This is just a few but I'm sure there are more.

MSRP was 67k as someone pointed 50k so not enough depreciation imho. Car has been modified and thats a can of worms. Springs wheels and who knows what else at what time. that unknown kinda sucks

But yes i did look at the market. i see them from 42-50k. this is a non cpo car. 45k is a great bid i think. especially in middle of the winter before the snow even started then forget it...it will sit for 6 months.

as far as options. On the executive package....ehhh...ok??? i guess. I Dont need the HUD. For me Executive package isnt a deal maker or breaker. I guess this all personal preference. The adaptive does seem like a must have though. It is anyones right to disagree. But i think its a central part of the car. Comp pack would def be nice though. This car has "some" of it.

I definitely like the car. But they gotta move a bit.

That was me haha. I get it- everyone has their own wants and needs and only you can decide which you're comfortable with. I think we're all in agreement on the price being too high. Maybe go back to them with some comps and see if they'll budge. I think waiting for something else also isn't a bad idea at all- prices on these are only going to come down and I think you'll start to see more of the 16's hit the market and you could very well get into a 16 at that pricepoint if not now, then in the near future.

I'll just say that re: the exec package, I wouldn't personally get one without it. The HUD is such a nice feature on these. Just my $.02!

Yup- I found that while some of the sites like cargurus and truecar are great resources and do a good job of aggregating vehicles, they do miss some. When I was shopping I was constantly looking at those two, autotrader, cars.com and BMW's own inventory site. I kept a spreadsheet going of potential vehicles to keep track of everything lol.

I have them and they come in handy. I really like the cornering lights, which I'm not sure are available on the standard HID's.

I just think they look much better when lit.

Question though. Are the led and xenons the same angel eye? I don’t think so but want to ask

I think this highlights the differences well:

thinking I should get greedy and ask another question since you guys have been so kind

What do you all think of grey with black leather 2016 comp package with 20k miles for 49800. It’s actually linked above. There are literally no other options. Guy won’t budge on the price. Like at all

Very sad to say it doesn’t have led.

The one from Freeport? Is it CPO'd? If not, why not? It's got a good service history.

I worry about that question too. It’s not that I need it. But why isn’t it ???

So look. I been negotiating with the dude all week. We came close to number. So I ask for detailed pics of what’s wrong with it. And it turns out there is a monster scratch above the rear wheel well. Scratch on trunk that gets the carbon fiber spoiler. One rim wheel rashed. And a monster stain in the passenger seat. How the heck does this all happen to such a nice car. It possibly could all be repaired but I wonder if this is a warning sign and I should stay away. Not to mention the amount of pet dander in back floor!!! I don’t know. This car is scaring me. Cars from city settings are different than what I am used to or need. I park my cars away from everything and baby them.

Recommend reviewing car's service history and condition before starting price negotiations in the future.

Looking to move up from my 435i to an M3. I want the four doors. And I am going to get a daily and garage the M a bit. So I am interested in this car.

https://www.warwickautopark.com/inve...mw-m3-6-speed/

Given that it's not at a BMW dealership, info on the car is limited. I need a crash course on the M options. What are the big ticket options? And is this car missing them? The rims were added. It doesn’t have the Competition package (since its a 2015). For example, my 435i MSport had Dynamic Handling and Adaptive M, etc. - big ticket options.

When an M3 is deemed "base" whats it really missing?

I am sorry as I know this info is searchable, but I’m looking to get a good working knowledge of these cars fast. I like this one and it could move quick.
