M Gruppe / other discounts

I am in the process of ordering a 2018 M3 w competition package. I just registered with M Gruppe, was hoping to get assistance with applying any discounts I could put towards to my build. The dealer has applied the current $3,000 discount offered on bmwusa website and offered an additional $2,800 customer loyalty discount as well (second M I will lease through them). They are saying 6-8 week build time (sounds optimistic but I’m in no rush as my current lease goes through June). Hoping I can apply some more discounts along the way, the manager says any qualifying incentives discounts I/they can find before then could be applied. Thanks in advance.

I got an email back from M Gruppe explaining the process, I’d delete this if I could or knew how

Someone somewhere maybe here in bimmerpost posted that after their car went into production they used the new car VIN to apply for M Gruppe membership. Maybe a loophole(?) that hasn't been closed.
This only applies if you don't currently have an M car.

It was me, as a member of M Gruppe, it is not a loophole it is encouraged by M Gruppe. No different then getting the corporate fleet discount on day 1 of your new job that has a relationship with BMW.

It's an extra $500 fleet discount for leases.

Same way, use the car's VIN. However be damn sure you are buying the car or could risk being banned.

Posted in another thread, but since this deals with the M Gruppe discount, this is just to let others know that M Gruppe is incompatible with USAA discounts and incentives. Learned this during a telephone conversation with a USAA representative, running this exact process to ground.

This is what stands now. Always subject to change.

I’m hoping to use the M Gruppe discount in my finance as well. Can anybody confirm that it’s a $2,000 finance incentive? For a 2018 M3.

$2000 is for a cash purchase OR a 3rd party finance deal outside of BMW FS.

You can join M Gruppe if you have an M car. Once you join you can request some forms from them to get the discount.

If you don't currently have an M car see post #7 above.

From the M Gruppe rules:

If you have ordered a new car and have not yet taken delivery, you will be able to apply this discount but you need to contact our Benefits at least 3 days prior to delivery for the document you will need to present to the dealer. The discount cannot be applied once delivery is taken.

Man did I learn about this group too late. Just getting $1500 off a fully loaded 66K M2 was like pulling teeth.

Is this stackable with the BMWCCA and Costco feel incentives, or do they all fall under the same category?

jmg BMW CCA and fleet (which is what M Gruppe falls under) are mutually exclusive, you have to pick one or the other. I'm not sure but I believe Costco is just fleet as well.

Edit: CCA rebate can now be used with fleet, see Vitacura post below.

Used to be correct prior to 7/5. There has been a change that now allows BMWCCA rebate to work with Fleet (Type G).

The exclusion has been removed from the rebate application form and this is listed on the BMWCCA rebate site:

Please note: Vehicles retailed with an Corporate Fleet Discount prior to 7/5/18 cannot be combined with the BMW CCA rebate program.

Another shell game by BMWNA, fleet used to be $1500 anyway. I take the old fleet discount w/o CCA any time

I just put an order in this past Saturday for an M3, does the above mean I can stack the M Gruppe discount with Costco. I was told no at the dealership, but something tells me I can.

Thank you

No as M Gruppe/Costco/Fleet are the same thing, you get one. But you will now be able to combine one of those with the BMW CCA rebate if you have that.
