I'd be happy with $5500. Drove up to a dealer today and got $1500 off an M3 that has been sitting on the lot since January of last year. An I had to fight for the extra $500.

Looks decent...I can tell by the sticker it's one of the late model ZCPs they produced...hopefully with a cool paint job. I couldn't get them to deal on those back in August, so I ended up with an M4.

i was able to get that payment for 36/10k with 0 down. drive off only consisted of first month + MSD. could maybe push for 1-2 more % discount on sale price but those are the prices i'm seeing in the north east.

You are right about the color. This car is the last Imola Red on my local dealer. Thank you for the input.

I try to push anther 1-2% discount, but that is the best they can do.

Not all of the dealers are that way. My favorite dealer just gave my friend a smoking deal on a M3 last night. I mean smoking....so much so that I cannot divulge the details.

While it might sound like I am BSing, I'm not. Think of a double digit discount, percentage-wise, plus incentives.

Im betting they did.. I went back in to get a new quote and mine went from 0.00183 last month to 0.00210. Even though monthly was $860, (msrp $81k) cheaper than $908 in Dec, I still said no.

I think we can do better with the current residual with more arm wrestling.

Went to another dealer today. Got a whopping 1.8% discount on 81xxx MSRP. Guy said there is little markup on M cars and so that's why they don't discount. Most M cars usually sell above M.S.R.P.!

He didn't believe anyone gets 5% discounts let alone 10%. <sigh>
I'm about to throw in the towel and just forget about the car.

I need to move out of Florida

I got $9,250 off MSRP two days before 2019, I didn't know the residual would change that much so mine was 57% on my M3 ... 36 months / 10k per year, I put down $3,500 and my payment is $980, probably could have been $880 if I waited . My msrp was $88,000 though as mine is fully loaded plus had the M perf spoiler, diffuser, and front splitters and lip.

I'm pretty mad about it though. I called the dealership and they said there is no way I would have received the same discount on that car in Jan, not sure if I believe them but if that's the case maybe it would have been the same payment anyway even with 61%.

Now many dealership will not give as much discount since the residual went up. As your $9250 off msrp, that discount is not include the rebates and incentive right?

Looking at:

MSRP 69295
Discount 5123
Rebates 3750

Still think this is high, at only around 7% off before rebates, but maybe not since it barely has any options.
