My local dealer has three on the lot. Two of them are discounted $5100, and the third one is discounted over $9k. And that's the posted discount..my guess is they will go deeper upon request.

Why? Looks like they got the price wrong but the exec package is on the car, per the window sticker. I don't think by "included" they mean "free option" in this case.

They got the executive package price and content wrong. Most of the items listed are not even available on the M3cs. They simply listed the standard M3 executive pack. Hence my comment. The car's MSRP at $102,395 is correct though.

On a side note:
the CS has no comfort access doors or such mechanisms.

I might be crazy but I'm really bothered by that manual HVAC. There's no way that saved enough weight to make a difference.

Paying 100k plus and having that I think is a little unacceptable and ridiculous especially since others are painted.

But besides that tangent I would definitely love to have one.

It's still an automatic HVAC. It is however single zone and not dual zone which requires more ducting and heat exchangers, hence the weight savings. And it works refreshingly well. I did not use the dual zone system that much on my previous M4 and judging how many folks complain about the lack of a synch button, it seems not many do either.

BTW, SMB is now a standard colour in most parts of thr world, replacing SSII in the standard metallic palette. It's not a "special" individual paint from a factory perspective.

Further, the engine bay on the CS is painted (at least it is on my 2019 LRG M4cs). The underside if the hood is however not painted, which allows to showcase the weave of the carbon fibre hood, which I find to be rather cool

Yes, still not a standard color in the US on non cs models F80/F82,
If you scroll though the pictures from the link https://www.bmwofnashville.com/new/B...0ba61ede86.htm
you will see the engine bay not painted. The LRG on the other hand all seem to be painted and i think cleared. At least your engine bay is painted, and yes the exposed carbon is a must.

I would not mind reverting to a single system at all. I have always found the dual system silly and can't recall a single time where myself and my passenger required a different temperature.

Shoutouts to all the SoCal dealers that tried to fuck me over when I told them I wanted to buy a CS last year and they acted like they were too good to sell a car and tried to try to take advantage by charging markups.

Agree in general, however, it only takes one time for that significant other passenger to complain about being too hot or too cold and the dual zone capability pays for itself

I got the same crap from SoCal dealers on the M2Comp. I offered to pay MSRP, but they said “No, it’s going to be a special car and we want $10-20k over MSRP if you want to be put in the waiting list”. Now that ALL 2019 M2’s are Comp package cars, they are easily had at MSRP just about anywhere in the country.

I really don’t get the premium for the CS. +9 hp, Alcantara and a few less lbs do not equate to +$20k over a loaded Comp Pkg. Are you really going to notice those extra 9hp or weight reduction in a car that already has 444 hp and still weighs >3500lbs after the reductions?

It's much more than 9 peak HP. Watch https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1562061

There are many differences, markets will dictate much more its worth over a CP. I never considered a CP as an alternative.

Agree, peak hp can be misleading. IMHO, even +38 hp at 5300 rpm is not worth 20 g’s though. Not when a moderate tune from Dinan will net 50-70 hp for less than $3k and maintain the factory warranty.

San Marino is an awesome color though!
