I am on the Toscana. It is on it's way to canada (Halifax) now. It is due in NY on the 19th.

Not a chance. My car was sitting in Halifax for 2 weeks before getting on a train.

Guess I got super lucky, called my dealer yesterday told them to put a rush on my car. Checked https://www.lhf.com this morning my car is loaded on a truck scheduled to arrived on Aug 17th at my dealer.

Yeah...that's super fast. But your car is being trucked and not going by train.

Yeah...that's super fast. But your car is being trucked and not going by train.

Yea , I thought it was gonna be train so I was worried that it had to wait at the port for a while, so I just called my dealer told them to rush it (not expecting it would be much help) but I guess it did. I'm glad things worked out so far

That's great news! Did it cost you extra to get it rushed? Any chance you're dealer is Budd's BMW in Oakville?

Thanks ! I'm with Endras bmw. Are you waiting for your car as well ? There was no extra cost. I was reading over the forum and people were saying you could call and rush them so I figured why not and it worked out okay.

Yeah I'm waiting on the Toscana, due in Halifax on the 16th. Its currently in the "dead zone" for ship tracking. Mind if I ask what you said to your dealer, I want to know what buttons to press lol. What's your build btw?

My vehicle arrived at port yesterday morning. I just called today and the rep said it was released to carrier and should get to dealer today. The rep couldn't believe how fast my car got out and from port to dealer took one day.

Just ended my self imposed no tracking sanction and found out I was also on the Tosca.

Now I can bug my CA and see if it's through customs yet.

I'll find out if my ED really slowed things down in that regard.

Sorry I couldn't post during the trip, but I told myself no checking until 4 weeks from drop off.
