Sorry we haven't updated in a couple weeks.
We've had a busy development schedule and have been revisiting some
N55 applications (M2, M235, 335/435 540/640, etc...) and starting to
explore the new B58 engine (340/440/etc...).
M235i

M2

We're also on the verge of wrapping up our "Torque Limited" Software
files for the S55 (M3/M4) which we'll post some dyno plots for soon, as
well as some videos demonstrating how that works.

For now, thanks for all the comments and PM's! Keep em' coming.

Pardon the slightly newbie question, but when your say torque limited software, do you mean limiting torque so the tyres don't spin as bad when launching or pushing hard at lower speeds?

That is correct. The goal will be to limit the power based on a number of variables to improve traction at WOT in your lower gears.

What's the next best thing to properly performed dyno testing?
We think it's performance testing with the Racelogic VBOX!

It's finally Springtime!
That means roads are drying up, and cars are coming our of the garages
and off of their winter or all season tires.

To celebrate we've recently announced our NEW HEX Tuning Pricing,
and now we're giving away FREE VBOX units.

We started a thread with all the details "here". (click the link to jump)

Who's ready for FULL OBDII Port Flashing?!?!

No more ECU Removal!
Completely User Installable,
Fully Upgradable,
and Switchable between Tuned and Stock Maps.

As most of you are currently reading across multiple threads all over this forum,
multiple tool makers have been running full speed ahead towards the finish line
with this new flashing protocol.

NOTE: This new OBDII protocol is not exclusive to VF Engineering/HEX Tuning
and will likely be shared with other tuners around the world. It is the responsibility
of the tuner to properly test the flashing processes and integrate the new utility
into their existing software program.

The actual performance software files, service and support channels, as well as the
reputation of our brand is what makes this an exciting opportunity for BMW F-series
owners around the world!

To share our excitement with the Bimmerpost Community we are going to give away
TWO FREE OBDII Port Flashes with Before & After Dyno Results at our Anaheim, CA
facility this coming week!

This will be our opportunity to demonstrate the new flashing process, as well as to highlight
the the facility where all of our software files are developed, tested, and validated prior
to consumer release.

All of the dyno plots used in this thread were for conversational
and informational use only, to aid in the ability to properly read
and understand the various plots posted by our company in any
of our advertising / marketed content.

The first plot which demonstrated multiple consecutive pulls was
for a Stage TWO vehicle, which would have required aftermarket
turbo back exhaust. (IE: Downpipes +plus cat-back)

If I recall correctly, the exact vehicle was a 2015 M3 (DCT) with
ER downpipes, Akra cat-back, and Eventuri Intake.

The plot shown in Post #20 was showing the typical gains which
can be expected when upgrading from Stage ONE to Stage TWO.

Looking at the shape of the curve, and the peak power figures, I
would be inclined to say that this vehicle was a 6-speed manual
with very similar modifications. DP + cat-back + intake.

And the car shown in Post #10 was from a customer with the
username Who's On First demonstrating the potential
with our Stage ONE power level. 2016 M4 (DCT) Software - only.
