Competition Pack vs Standard Graphs

Found this US CP brochure, probably the best I've found on the CP although doesn't say a great deal!

But there are some graphs for power and torque, now I've not seen these as yet..........illustrates the very slight difference between the two variants.

Essentially you need to be revving it well to even notice any difference ... probably why people that have driven both can hardly tell any difference.

Garage List
And there is an error on the chart. Peak power occurs at 6000RPM, not 7300RPM as indicated.

Completely agree. That chart doesn't even correlate with their own figures!!!

Andy - said it before, CP doesn't feel like it's building to any crescendo at higher revs - just feels like a normal M3. If you can tell that extra BHP, you're a better man than me!!

Day to day, something like the ACS upgrade (the other boxes/maps I expect will do same - only driven ACS one), does make a huge difference. That extra torque around 3k-4k is very noticeable.

As for the CP hike (if you can call it that), pure marketing drivel....
