I don't think it will look like this, 'cause if it will, it's really not a big difference from the current post-facelift e90 M3. The car in the render basically looks like the current M3 sedan with a fancy aftermarket bumper and a bit different headlights (not a lot different). Also, I too miss the powerdome. Will the M3 be easily recognizable, when compared with an M-sport sedan?

like the look, but seems a bit close to a Mercedes, E-amg I think, not sure. But Im liking the new M5 over the old, so I hope it will be the same with old/new M3. i.e. not so beefy. Less weight more power(or same)!!!!

I think it's awesome...every ///M model has been the benchmark for the industry and I'm certain that this one will set the same high standard that manufacturers chase (albeit unsuccessfully) until the next generation emerges. BMW for the freakin' win...

If you watch the video of the E9X test mule from back in the day you can clearly see a power dome. None of these current mules have any bump or hint of a bulge. I think the F80 will have a raised hood, different from the F30s but without a bulge. Again, using the F10 M5 as a design reference, I doubt there will be a power bulge. Using my same line of speculating, the F10 hasn't showed any signs of a cfrp roof so i tend to believe the F80 will also lack that option. We've seen M6 mules with camo on the roof indicating a possibility of the option but only time will tell.
Remember BMW invested a lot of money in CFRP and talked about implementing it on all their models. The question, now, is where.

I'd be super excited should they stick a modified S63 in the f80 M3.
It would crush the likes of c63 amg, cts-v and certainly shut up all those ford guys! I never bought an M to be frugal with the mileage. This market shift towards induced air has me worried.

Front bumper looks nice, but too aggressive in the render. I expect the production version's front bumper to be significantly more conservative. The render looks nice, but probably way more aggressive than the productive version.
BMW is just too conservative these days. |

An ///M car without a "power dome" is like kim kardashian without an ass. Honestly thats what helps describe an ///M car, how it puts it out there. One glance and people know that is an ///M instead of checking the fenders and the rear to see if it is truly an m3. I mean come on it looks SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCHHHH SEXIER and aggressive with it. Same with the 1m i was very disappointed to see that they did not put a power dome on it :'(
I swear i will buy a e9x m3 hood and put it on the f30 m3, whos with me?! |

Love the Red with carbon fiber roof and black side mirrors/trim, how about monte carlo blue with the same trim?
tought call for me would be red with two tone seats or blue with one color black seats, wish they had two tone blue seats like back in the early 2000s with the M Roadster/coupe. |
