Mileage suggestions for track F82

Hello everyone - first timer on the BP forums here. Have a question for you lifers out there with more time on the track with your F8X cars.

I enjoy building solid circuit track cars, but usually purchase very low mileage (<5k) cars to start with. I have a few in my collection but engine components have always been part of the builds. I picked up an F80 CS a while back and is my first BMW. As you know, the platform is fantastic and I've really been enjoying it as a grocery getter and errand runner. I like it so much that it's convinced me to also get an F82 for next season. This will be the first time that I'll leave the engine stock besides intake/exhaust and better fluid cooling, and will only do suspension, aero, tires, and brakes.

Based on that info, what type of mileage do you think I should limit to in looking for a used M4? What reliability have you had romping on the S55? I'm aware of the crank hub concern, which will be addressed, but I'd like to get some direction from the folks who have pushed their S55's for a while now? For instance should I looking for one with less than 20k miles on it to start with? 30? 40 even would be fine?

In the fall of 2017 I purchased a 2015 M4 6MT that I tracked for two years, was at 28.5k miles when purchased and sold at 52k miles after about 3500 track miles with a stage 1 tune. No problems, changed oil every 5k miles.

Currently abusing a 2019 M4 I purchased used, 500 track miles so far, stage 1 tune.

The F8X is quite reliable. If you are going to leave the engine stock I don't think you need to worry about the hub slipping.

My CS has been used exclusively for the track since I bought it new, getting double tracked by two instructors, zero issues.

Bought my F80 with 38,000mi on the odometer last August. Up to 45000mi now with 30+ sessions on it since then. Don't need to worry about over-heating issues unless you are in high humidity high heat areas in the South. Tires will probably over-heat before the car does down there too lol.

I've tracked and DD a 2016 F80 ZCP to 45k miles and a 2018 F80 CS with 10-15k miles with zero issues with both cars - super reliable platforms...

Ya - I can run my F80 in the Texas summer temps with zero cooling issues.
