Leather conditioning / cleaner recs.

Any recommendations for leather cleaner / conditioner? Also how often to use it?

My M4 has about 50k miles and I’ve not done much to the seats or steering wheel, but was wondering if they need to be conditioned to help last longer. I’m pretty gentle on the interior, so the only noticeable wear I’m seeing is on the driver bolster from getting in/out of the seat. Sakhir orange interior.

I like the chemical guys leather cleaner + conditioner set. My leather feels clean and supple afterwards, and has a slight sheen without any greasy shine i.e. it looks as new as it can be. Only has a very slight scent that's clean/fresh.

Definitely avoid the leather wipes from Meguiar's. Shiny and somewhat greasy coating that stays that way. Used the chemical guys set to sort it out after a few days, and all was good again.

I have the same CG combo, also like using it. About 3-4 times a year is where I find myself using it.

I am really a fan of BMW's leather cleaner. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling or smell. Has a nice orange scent to it and lathers well.

Leatherique if you have the time, I believe is by far the best.

I just used Zaino Z-9 to clean, and Swissvax Leather Milk, and was very happy with the results.

Bought and used the Leather guys stuff. Good so far, very mild with no odor. Seats were a little “squeaky” when I sat down, but the cleaner did a great job on the steering wheel. So far so good!

Very impressed with the results of Dodo Juice Leather Cleaner followed by Dodo Juice Leather Sealant. Leaves a non-shiny matte finish.

My vote is for Sonax leather foam. Keeping up with cleaning and being cautious of your hands and bottom wear can help for sure. A lot of great brands recommended here so have fun with some trial and error until you find what you like!

Just no cg recommendations please

Another vote for Swissvax. I use it exclusively for our x5 ivory white interior and it literally looks good as new. Pricey but you get what you pay for.

I made the mistake of using a meguiars leather wipe on my dash to try to do a quick wipe down and now I have streaks that I can't get rid of. Have been using a wet towel for a few days and it's getting better. I just ordered the chemical guys cleaner and conditioner linked in this thread from amazon to give a try.

I have always used Leatherique and decided to switch to Colourlock. Have you applied Colourlock Leather Shield to your seats or steering wheel? If so, what is the best way to apply?
