Anyways, what have y'all been seeing at in terms of car wrap prices? I'd imagine you're looking in the 2-5k range for anything decent. Still better than a paint job but annoying nonetheless.

Was my daily till i got the m3 lol

Oh that's sick. Sorry I meant the Mercedes GT earlier in the thread.

Buttt yours is also great, and props to you to being one of those taking advantage of their GT3's. Great drivers. I daily'd my C2 convertible (no gt3, I know) for a few years and loved it.

Got a quote from a local reputable shop to wrap my M4 GTS in 3M Satin Dark Grey Metallic for $2700, which I felt was a great price.

However, to wrap the door jambs while doing the exterior, they want $3900.

I understand that wrapping the jambs is not the easiest, but $1200 when the car has only 2 doors? Does that seem nuts to anyone else?

Xpel ultimate plus on the whole car. Self healing on minor abrasions no swirl marks. I love the peace of mind. And it's glossy with very few imperfections on the whole car. You should have paint correction prior.

OP... would make more sense if you cleared up what you're referring to; PPF (clear), or wrapping the car in an individual color?

Both have different attributes, selections, cost differences, and functions.

IMO:
PPF- wished I dropped the $1200 to get this to cover the front half of the car from the get go, and I will 100% do this with every new car I purchase.

Individual color wrap- I think its worth it, and I have contemplated doing this if I decide to keep the car after my final payment is made. My only concern is the quality that varies from shop to shop, and what solutions there are to protect from chips...?
