Carbon Fibre OEM mirror covers, spoiler &diffuser
Car is going back to BMW FS and has above fitted. How easy are they to remove? Boot spoiler looks like it will have left a mark on paint for example ? I presume door mirror covers require replacing with standard ones ?
Based near Thame, Oxford if anyone interested. |

The mirror caps are fixed at 5 points into the frame with clips.
If you are really keen you could try to pry them off with not too much power to not damage them. The safe way is to remove the mirrors with a broad spatula hook from below upwards with gently force, then they start to slip out of their rest. Make your way then around inside clockwise starting at 11 o'clock. The trunk spoiler is almost just fixed with 3M double sided tape, however, BMW recommends the use of special glue to assist the adhesive force, same for all front installed spoilers. If you own the OEM Performance lip and flaps, they are additional connected by screws from below. So, the conclusion is, you are not safe from leaving visible marks after removing the spoilers.
