Front lip protection
What are you guys using to protect your aftermarket front lip? Concerned how low I'll be after getting springs and a front lip installed. I know front lips are made to take a beating when you're low but it would be nice to keep it as long as possible .
(My precious car was lowered so I'm used to driving low cars so I know how to angle on steep driveways. Just more cautious of this car) Thanks in advance! |

Some people use Sliplo but I didn't want to spend $150 so I got this off Amazon for $20 and it's been great! It's absorbed everything I've thrown at it, even a rock the size of a football... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004H28JMS...p_mob_ap_share

Tbh I'd just get the lightweight lip as it's the only one that can take a beating and sell the carbon one while it's still in one piece if you're gonna lower it and have concerns. The lip protectors are more for scraping, a curb that would destroy your lip is gonna destroy it regardless of what you put on the lip. Lightweight lip can take a beating. I run a carbon lip in NYC/NY but I'm extremely careful. |

Have had SlipLo on two different cars and couldn't speak more highly of it. Learned about it from some of the Ferrari, McLaren, 911, and GTR guys at our local informal cars and coffee we have in SD every Saturday, so decided to give it a try, it's been essentially bulletproof and a life saver in many situations. That said, I'm sure any guard could work.

Just ordered thanks. Also to the OP cup kit is probably one of my favorite mods if you're willing to spend a little. |

I have the slip-lo on my RKP lip. One year on the lip and not a single scratch on it. I'm at stock height though. Anything beyond that height, good luck.
