2018 Apple CarPlay

I know Apple CarPlay has been covered multiple times, however, can’t seem to find my scenario. I have a 2018 F82 without carplay, with idrive 6, no antenna, so I ordered and received the OEM antenna. Once installed, will I be able to activate Apple CarPlay directly through BMW or is there an additional step? I still have warranty so would rather not do any aftermarket coding if possible. Thanks all.

You can't order OEM through BMW Connected Drive.
Can be done with OEM Fsc or just aftermarket coding which can be removed anytime.
