Yes, as I stated in my previous comment. My car is 100% stock besides the Top Gear cat-back exhaust.

I spread the news to UK guys and some raised a concern if this system is good for big power numbers? Main concern is 2.5 pipe going into single pipe.
Any thoughts on that?

From what I know, this exhaust made ~10whp more than stock. I believe they will be posting dyno sheet soon. Flow isn't a problem. The system is very well designed, much better than my custom single exit system.

It's 2 x 2.5 inch pipes, merged into a single 3.0 for what looks like about 6 inches, and branches out to 2 x 3.0 inch pipes. The pulses are now evenly spaced as well, where they previously weren't.

Also, this isn't directed at you, but something for everyone to keep in mind. The entire point of this exhaust is to fix the tone. Otherwise nobody in their right mind would design such a complicated exhaust. Packaging is a P.I.T.A., and obviously so much more complex than anything else on the market. If people are looking for every last bit of HP, then I see no reason to run anything other than AWE unresonated track edition. Just want to put things into perspective.

Saw that too, I guess they got greedy because they saw how excited people got. Well, I'm done here.

They have definitely got a bit greedy, this exhaust is significantly more expensive that any of the other cat back they sell.

At over 4k posted I'd rather wait for other brands to get in the mix like Miltek or I could have a custom one made based on this

Pre-ordered! So pumped something like this is finally coming to market. Anyone want to buy the resonators I originally bought to swap with the stock secondary cats and never installed?

We need competition in this space to drive the price down.

$3800 for a catback on this car isnt too unrealistic assuming you get the rear box and valves and can then sell the stock system.

Imo if this was priced at around $2-2500 that would seem reasonable, at $4k you've lost me.

The price is for me also a big problem and a knock out. Specially because i am from Germany and was very interested in this system. But if I buy the top gear system, it would cost me round about $5000 (shipping/tax/custom tax) until the exhaust system is in my garage

Would be nice if milltek built something similar.

Uk people not very keen on price.BTW we have local guys working on cost effective solution ,so confident it will cost much cheaper .
Think topgear got their price wrong IMO ,but surely some wouldn’t mind and pay asking price!
As mentioned above it will cost us $5k to get that exhaust to Europe..Ok ,We are OUT!!

+ 1 on that. I'm up in Canada and after conversion taxes and shipping I'm looking at just under 6k....

Sounds excellent and I agree on price point being high. Early bird gets the worm... now waiting for the hungry birds to come.

is the 3800 seriously the set price, at 2900, they would sell 10 times more exhaust and still have a 1000% markup!!

Yeah, I have to agree with the majority here. Was super excited about the system from TopGear, and I'm even local enough to have them install it, but the price point puts me off something fierce.

God, it does sound good though.

Ridiculous. Throw some Vibrant 1792 resonators in place of the secondary cats, and you remove most if not all of the rasp, and not mess with the exhaust flow / piping. BMW did a great job with the midpipe and flow on these cars. This is doing AND ASKING too much, for a minimal result.
