This hasn't been different for a few years now. Cars with 57.x or later software have the exact same slip angle limits regardless of market.

Really? I just got this coded in yesterday and felt pretty different to me. Maybe it was all in my head lol

Changing C_Laenderkennung doesn't do more than create a number of FASTA error codes including data manipulation flags. Electronic Stability Control is a Harmonized UN Global Technical Standard but the US isn't a member to the UN Regulatory Agreement (ECE).

To correct an error I made above, it's for 58.3 and later I-step.

Euro spec cars also come with a foldable warning triangle and first aid kit in the trunk.

Back in the day (like with my E36 M3 and E46 M3), the Euro variants had more performance capabilities, to include more HP/TQ than the US variants - usually due to more strict emissions requirements in the US. Now, for the most part emissions standards are essentially the same around the globe, but more importantly, engine technology has improved to the point where OEMs can extract max power and efficiency with the same HP/TQ numbers in different markets.

The only real difference between Euro and US spec cars nowadays are minor cosmetic "options" (i.e. foldable mirrors w/key fob, etc) and different legal requirements in different markets (i.e. orange reflectors, anti-dazzle headlights, etc). But since these cars are basically rolling computers, turning most features on/off is relatively simple - hence the coding knowledge that is currently available.

Like many others, I have all of the "popular" Euro features listed above coded to my car. I even have the amber rear turn signals since I installed the Euro Blackline tail lights and I bought the warning triangle too .

No front amber side reflectors
Variable distribution low beams
Anti-glare high beams (optional)
Fold exterior mirrors with key fob
Close windows/sunroof with key fob
Front seat retract comfort access
No iDrive disclaimer on start-up
Or, I believe, no rear lower bumper (red) reflectors either.

Plus (+-) 6Hp.

Not sure about the First Aid Kit, but, they do come with an Emergency Road Side Kit with a vest & gloves

And, also the "Oddments Tray" (cupholder cover) together w/ the Glove Box Storage net.

Cheers!

EU cars also have the red reflectors on the rear bumper.

There is no difference in power. It is a question of which units are used in different countries, imperial hp (SAE hp) or metric hp (DIN hp, often referred to as ps). In other words:
425hp SAE = 431hp DIN Base
444hp SAE = 450hp DIN CP
453hp SAE = 460hp DIN CS
493hp SAE = 500hp DIN GTS

It is more complex than this. The days of diverging engine output due to emission standards are long gone. The E46 M3 had the same power output in Europe and in America, the perceived difference lies in the units used and the certification methodology (see post above). In the case of the E36, it was a question of economics, BMW did not believe the American market was willing to pay for the full fledged 286/321hp M3 offered in Europe, so they shoved a less expensive 240hp motor in the engine bay for the American market. Hence the difference in power output.
