Sunglasses storage location?

Stupid question - where do you all store sunglasses in the car? I like to always keep a pair of shades in the car, and I can't seem to find a good place to store them. My 535 had a nice little compartment to the left of the steering wheel...perfect fit, even if it wasn't intended for that purpose. This car (F80)...I've tried center console but I'm always throwing my phone in there and there's not much space. Glove box is too much of a reach.

The pocket with the lid [mines always open] in front of the cup holders.

I put my phone and wallet there.

I put my sun glasses in the case down in the door pocket.

My glasses never seemed to fit in those stupid flip down holders so im glad it doesnt have that.

I guess this is a perk of not having the driver assist buttons. We get a little compartment to the left of the steering wheel perfect for sunglasses.

I plan on asking my CA to throw this in. Great for sunglasses and hopefully covers up those ugly warning labels.

I've always used this by Croakies. Works great and keeps things very stable.

Isn't there a compartment to the left and a bit below the steering wheel on the dash?

For the E9x cars, there was an optional sunglass compartment that mounted instead of the oh$hit driver side handle. Look it up on realoem.

I'm just a total douche and wear my sunglasses inside at all times. Kidding. Sometimes though.

My E46 had a perfect compartment right in between the radio and ashtray. It was PERFECT and I wish the F82 had it too. My E92 didn't have it either. With my M4, I either keep a sunglass case in the door and will put them in there or in the glovebox in the odd instance I leave them in the car.

I have it and I regret buying it... imho it's not worth the money and the quality was a disappointment.

This thing is bulky so I had to install it on the passenger side because on the driver side it was disturbing.

I was wondering what he was talking about. Just a bunch of buttons for me.

This is an issue for me too, cant seem to find a convenient accessible place for my sunglasses. They end up going on the passenger seat, I rarely have a passenger anyway.

The center console is smaller if you get the upgraded bluetooth package. That silly phone cradle takes up a lot of space.

I place my glasses on the cup holder cover by the DCT shifter. Never eat or drink in my cars so this little cover never is removed and works perfect. when I wear my glasses I put my keys there

Tried this today on the way to work. Seems to work - the case is big enough that it stays in one place. I hate things sliding/rolling around when I'm driving.

Thanks for the input all.

I have the upgrade and there is still plenty of room in there for sunglasses.

I use something similar to this and works well. Sunglasses are clipped to the visor, stay out of the way and right there when you need them.

I've always gone for the pocket on the door. Put them in a nice case so they don't get scratched and that also usually helps them from sliding around too much
