Heel and toe is double clutching while braking. It may seem like a lot of steps, but it’s second nature. I couldn’t get technical with you, I’m not a race car driver, merely an enthusiast. Could you rev match just by revving while the clutch is engaged? Sure I suppose, but the rythem is lost. Heel and towing and double clutching are very fast, and become second nature after a while... |

Reading some of the reviews on the M4 online & Youtube, you'd think this would be a terrible car. I've had my M4 for about 10 weeks now and am absolutely in love with it.
& to think, I was almost dissuaded after watching some of those videos claiming how much of a let down this car was. Glad I stuck with my gut and purchased the ///M. |

Brakes should be bed in when new (note removal of word hard) and there is a way to do it and a way not to do it. For general public, who are not going to do a proper bedding - going easy on the brakes is an easier rule of thumb.

The proper procedure recommended by Brembo, Stoptech, Hawk etc is to do 3-4 moderate stops from 35-0 then 3-4 "Hard" stops from 60-0. Going easy on brakes won't bed the material as well as a Hard stop.

During normal braking, the right side of my foot does not touch the accelerator no matter how much I rotate it downward. never quite understood the term "heel/toe" in a modern car
