New to me M3
Hi Guys and Gals-
I just picked up this tanzanite blue metallic M3 last weekend. I traded in my X3 m40i that I had for 8 months for it. I really enjoyed the X3 but there really is no comparison. I will miss the size but that is about all. I was looking for an M3 for a little while and found this one. I didn't want a black, white, or silver one and I wanted one with low miles. This was a 3 year lease return with 23k miles on it and there is no damage anywhere. Wheels are scratch free as is the rest of the car. The whole vehicle is covered in PPF and the interior is immaculate as well. I have the carbon fiber front grill on order as well as carbon fiber mirror caps for now. I was pretty active in the G01 forum for the 8 months I had the X3 and am excited to be involved here. Anyway, here are a couple of pictures. Sorry for the quality but I took them with my phone. |

It's been almost two months now of ownership and I love this car. Such a blast to drive. I bought the bmw carbon fiber mirror caps and also the bmw carbon fiber rear diffuser. I also bought the bmw m performance rear carbon spoiler and got rid of the chrome grill surround and the ///M3 chrome trunk badge and replaced both with black pieces. I couldn't stand the chrome side vent pieces so I replaced those as well. And this weekend I installed the lightweight front lip spoiler. None of this is new to any of you but I am pleased with how everything turned out.
I took care of a couple of maintenance things as well. I replaced the in cabin air filter, got an oil change, and had the spark plugs replaced. I am at 28k miles now so I figured I might as well do it. |
