I'd like to know as well for my 2016 m4 comp (swift springs). I've called a few places and some are charging $800 and one other spot is only charging $200. I'm wary of both because I think $800 is way too much and I think the job quality for a $200 job would be crap. I think $350 is the sweet spot from what I've researched here.

Yes, so did I same price range I’ve done them on other cars but I just picked up new M4 with comp package and just don’t wanna mess with it. Watched some DIY and it’s doable.

German auto tech
Go to German Auto Tech in Englewood. I got My Car done there and I Paid $375 though it was 3 years ago. My suspension feels great with no squeeks or anything wrong. attached is a picture for reference.

Ask each shop what their hourly rate is and multiply it by 4. That should give you an idea of if they are ripping you off or not.
Many members on this forum did the job in their garage with basic tools and it takes an 1-1.5h per wheel (at most) |

If you’re willing to wait until mid September I could do it for about 250 in my driveway.
Or watch this video and see if this is something you could tackle yourself. |

Lowering springs can be done with basic hand tools, jack and stands with limited knowledge. It is a very quick job, especially when you know the little tricks. Takes longer to put the car on 4 jack stands than the time it takes to do the rear.
Don't do it yourself if you aren't comfortable. Also, don't pay for more than 2 hours of labor. Tommy's price is fair! |
