Catted Downpipe Options

So looking into getting a set of aftermarket catted downpipes. I live in a county with emissions and safety testing. It can be a hassle to 'work around' the testing.
I was looking at these two setups was wondering peoples thoughts.
Turner Motorsports Catted S55 downpipes - https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-5...RoC5OQQAvD_BwE

Arm Motorsports Catted Downpipes - https://www.armmotorsports.com/colle...0-m3-downpipes

I was reading a thread on the Arm pipes and seems like they had a fitment issue at first that has since been resolved. From what I've read it seems like the cats they put on aren't very good so you still get a CEL, which would prevent me from passing emissions. Was thinking if just putting a defouler(o2 spacer) on to try to prevent it. Just wondering if people have experience with Turner's pipes and if they caused a CEL.
Not really looking to shell out the money for Evolution RaceWorks or Agency Power pipes

I've got ER sport cats and you still get the CEL. The only higher quality sport cats are Wagner's but they're $2K to try and avoid the CEL.

OEM flows pretty darn good anyways.

Did you just code it off and leave it or use a defouler?

I turned off the CEL using the Catalytic Monitor drop-down selection in Bootmod3 map config.

Keeping a defouler on would throw off your lambdas from a true reading, which can affect your tune performance.

So if I get a High Flow Cat DP and turn off the CEL via BM3, would I pass NJ inspection?

I believe I would pass the visual and we still have a secondary cat that is working normally.

No. Readiness still wouldn't be set. Only way to pass is with OEM Downpipes, and as mentioned above they flow really well. This is coming from someone that had catless and went back to OEM in order to pass inspection as well. Secondaries don't do anything in terms of passing inspection or not.

I've been wanting to upgrade to Stg. 2 on BM3. I don't like the burbles though, so maybe I'll just turn them off so I can run Stg. 2 on the OEM DP's without issue.

With any BM3 tune I had about 4 not-readys on the OBD check, and failed inspection. I had to put on my stock cats and stock tune to pass in PA. Then I went right back to E30 Stg2 OTS no burbles.
