Someone mentioned if earlier, the Woodcliffe NJ registration does not automatically mean M school or PC car as any car owned by them will be registered there.

You will have to dig deeper and likely won't be able to get an answer on your own. The PC and M school cars are marked internally and won't show on carfax or auto check.

I'll reiterate what someone else said that BMW NA doesn't hold any responsibility for these cars once they leave their hands. It's on the retailer to disclose this. The dealer knows full well what they're buying and knows full well what they're selling.

Unless something has changed in the past two years these cars cannot be CPO and are ineligible for BMW extended warranties. Doesn't mean you can't get a third party but the manufacturer will not back that vehicle outside of the manufacturer 4/50.

That assumes you definitely know its a track car. Most dealers do not disclose and are subject to suit.

It's not a class issue. They're all separate misrep suits against the specific dealers for non-disclosure and/or fraud. All of the track cars are sent to auction so BMW NA has no liability. However, there could be a consumer basis to go back through the supply/ distribution chain of the good back to them for non-disclosure on public policy reasons.

However, given how the dealerships and BMW NA and BMW Performance center are structured, it will be hard at the very least re jurisdiction. That being said, any such case would probably hang at the pleadings/class cert stage for months if not years. That is a big risk for any lawyer.

Brass hats and demos make for amazing lease deals. I remember best deal ever was $90 a month for an x3. They can apply new car lease rates to them, of course adjusted for mileage, look for low mileage ones and you can get an amazing lease turn it in and walk away.

How can I tell if a car was used for M driving school?

This is a continuation from an earlier post I made regarding a car I found. It was brought to my attention that there's a chance that the car may have been used in an M performance school. Looking at the Carfax, it was a 2017 car but it was not officially sold until 2018. It originated in Ohio. There's no Carfax information prior to this. It was listed as originally sold with 6000 miles on it... could this have been a fleet car? Or loaner car?

@chicagoshark I read your other post, is the M3 your interested a CPO? With the low millage, it should be CPO'd; however, BMW NA will not CPO a M School velicle.

If an M3 is CPO, is it safe that it was not an M performance driving class school?

Also, I've heard that BMW doesn't use 666 competition 20" wheels for the M performance school, so if they don't have those wheels, should be safe. Is that accurate?

I don't think that's true. Last time I was the performance center they definitely had some comp packs with the 666M's.

Agree. They had comp pack wheel cars when I took PCD delivery of my comp pack M4.

CPO, I'd say probably not a BMW performance center car. As far as I've ever seen and driven, BMW has never used the 20 inch wheels for performance school cars...both her and in Europe. Always the 19s and always on free continental sponsorship tires has been my experience. I've done 1 day M school at PC, 2 day M school at Thermal, M track days at Thermal, Advanced M school at VIR, PCD at PC, private lesson at PC, new owner track drive at PC, Nurburgring sectional training, Nurburgring lapping and Sweden ice training. Never saw 20-inchers. Definitely what she said, too.

I know this is the wrong forum for an M2 but not much reply in that section.

I am seeing an influx of OG M2 being sold down here in the southern US. All originally from Quebec which is very odd in the US. Are these Canadian PC cars?
