Looks pretty good, and indeed like a baby M5. Needed or not, a power dome would be welcomed and consistent with prior M3s. Can't wait to see the M4...

I absolutely LOVE that front bumper... kind of reminds me of the current M3's Arkym front bumper though.

Wow that looks great. Very aggressive.

For some reason I think the next gen M3 will have a V6 with 2 turbos because if they are going to follow the direction from the E60 M5 and current M3 they will use the V8 in the F10 M5 and chop 2 cylinders and call it a V6. I think it makes sense.

I am not liking the render... the proto looks like it has a bigger hood bulge than the render like there is more distance between the air vents and the buldge on the hood in the proto and why would they get rid of the extra hood air vents... I can not see this with the M3... plus I would think the M3 would have bigger front air vents... looks oddly similar to a 335i m-sport sedan... but good work on the render

"If you take a close look, we may be looking at a different front end on the F80 M3 than on the regular F30 3-series sedan. The clearest clue is the shape of the kidney grilles - which appear to be shapelier/curvier than those seen on the F30 3-series prototypes (see below for comparison). The entire front end also seems to be a different shape compared to the F30 3-series prototypes. Is it possible that this prototype is wearing the F32 3 series / F82 M4 coupe's front end? Perhaps." (http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=591486)"

Not sure what exactly you are referring to, but that quote may explain your concern. Also, this is a render, not an actual photograph.

Dang... it looks nice...

Wish they took some of the looks and put it in the F20 1 series or the upcoming 2er

Thumbs down

the lines on the hood do not look the same on all sides..is that a mistake or just the design?

Middle front opening needs to be bigger than the side ones, other than that looks good!

I don't like the headlight and the hood, other than those, looks great!!
One thing that kills it though is that it doesn't have a V8 anymore

For reference, the renders are based off this spy photo:

Interesting, However, I think the way the headlights connect to the kidney grill gives the car character. Since the first spy shots taken from the roof top the look has really grown on me. Funny that even with your edit to the photo it still looks nothing like an E9X

They're the same. It's the angle playing tricks on the eye.

I think the inner edge of the camo on the hood falsely gives the impression there's another ridge there. The artist that did the rendering believes there is a ridge there, but I don't think so.
